The background imagery was composed for the front cover of a supplement volume called TOKYO Japanese Restaurant Guide attached to the December 2012 issue of the monthly magazine FIGARO japon. Illustrations were created using the motifs of the ingredients and the tools related to Japanese cuisine using distinct red and black colors which were inspired by traditional lacquerware.
