MORI LIVING
Introducing the MIWA AKABANE DESIGN RUG COLLECTION, which was initiated in 2014 by a long-established rug manufacturer Prevell. The two styles, “New trail” and “aoi tori”, were originated from Miwa’s pattern collection. The new edition, titled “TAPE”, was composed using the sketches that were created first by masking tape. The “New trail” is the commercialized version, with the additional color variation, wine red, which was produced using Miwa’s design from her first solo exhibition at the Greenhouse in the Stockholm Furniture Fair in 2012.
