MORI LIVING
Designed the 2015 AW edition of the soft and tender towel called Yasashii Towel. The work was produced for the Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shinbun, which publishes a new edition almost everyday. The designs included the patterns titled “town” and “mori tori” from Miwa’s artwork collection and a new pattern inspired by a sketch of a singular paper cutout artwork titled “darjeeling tea”. An exhibition called “Miwa Akabane’s Shimishimi Pattern Dai-Sakusen” was held at Tobichi Gallery for the launch.
